Was Pope Benedict XVI Resignation Valid?
When Pope Benedict XVI resigned in 2013, almost no one was discussing whether the resignation was valid or not. To be honest, that upset me greatly as during my studies I had always read/heard that there can’t be two Popes. One would always be the valid Pope and one would be the anti-pope. So, from the very start of Francis’ pontificate – it greatly disturbed me that the question was completely ignored!
At that time, all everyone was talking about was the history of other Popes that resigned and that Pope Celestine resignation was a similar to Pope Benedict’s resignation. I of course being who I am did some research.
Throughout the history of the Church there has only been four Popes that have ever resigned:
Pope Benedict IX in 1045 – he was bribed by future Pope Gregory VI to resign so that Pope Gregory VI could become Pope. He accepted the bribe and resigned his papacy.
Pope Gregory VI 1046 – When it was found out that he bribed Pope Benedict IX so he could become Pope, he was asked/forced to resign
Pope Celestine V 1294 – This was at a time in history where several YEARS went by without a Pope. A holy hermit, wrote to Church leadership that the Church needs a Pope. The Church leadership couldn’t agree on anyone so they elected the hermit that wrote them to be the Pope. Of course, being a hermit, he never thought about or wanted to be the Pope. Pope Celestine struggled with the administrative duties of Pope and there were very few Cardinals he trusted. He felt that it wasn’t good for the Church or his soul to stay. After only a few months he resigned to go back to be a hermit. The next Pope, Boniface VIII, had him arrested to prevent any question of authority, as some were questioning the validity of the resignation. Pope Celestine died/was killed in prison. https://www.britannica.com/biography/Saint-Celestine-V
Pope Gregory XII 1415– ruled during the great schism in the Church where there were two Popes. He was asked to resign so the Church could elect one Pope to unite the Church.
There isn’t exactly any precedence to a Pope just choosing to resign except Pope Celestine V which is why Pope Benedict XVI’s resignation is often compared to him.
However, did you notice that Pope Celestine V was arrested, put in prison and died/killed by the next Pope? Did you notice that there was even questions of the validity of his resignation? What it all comes down to is the next Pope didn’t want any question of authority.
What is interesting is there is now evidence (in the form of a private revelation) that Pope Benedict XVI also was also in a prison after his resignation and he also was killed/died in that prison just like Pope Celestine V.
After his death, Pope Benedict XVI appeared to Sr. Benedicta on February 2, 2023 and said the following: Note: I added an additional note in parentheses for clarification.
“My prison in exile was the Mater Ecclesiae monastery, and there was a special reason for that. God saw to it that I was inside, as his rightful shepherd, and not outside, to support the Church, to pray and live in penance, through a seemingly hidden and silent life, without any comfort except the occasional visits that my jailer allowed because he had to obey his Lord (Francis), who saw to it that I was isolated, devoid of communication with the world. But I could never be deprived of communication with God….
It was very painful for my broken humanity to discover that they were slowly poisoning me, for I heard my master Georg Gänswein, without them noticing, giving instructions from Francis to the nuns who served me. I heard him say: keep giving him the medicine, do everything so that it seems natural, suspect nothing, do not ask questions, orders from above, do not worry, you will be well rewarded…
The person responsible for shortening those days was my jailer. My seemingly loyal secretary Gänswein. This task had been entrusted to him, and he had to fulfill it without leaving the slightest suspicion of murder. The day before my death, my secretary received a phone call. It was Francis, and he said this phrase, “It’s time,” and he hung up. I had heard it because he was near me and he thought I was asleep. I did not resist my executioner. I waited patiently for my end. What else could I have said or done since I was completely isolated and guarded 24 hours a day, since they were really in charge within the Vatican and they, who are now in the majority thanks to Francis, manipulated information and published a truth that was modified and generously paid by the Vatican itself.”

What!! No way was Pope Benedict XVI a prisoner!! That is lie! Or is it?
This is a letter written by Pope Benedict XVI after he resigned:
https://rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2014/10/the-message-of-pope-emeritus-benedict.html#more
The key sentence is:
I will be spiritually with you. My state as a 'cloistered monk' does not allow me a presence that is also exterior. I leave my cloister only in particular cases, [when] personally invited by the Pope.
Did you catch that? Pope Benedict XVI said he only went outside was when Francis personally asked him to.
In the below writing – the author makes an extremely good point:
20 months earlier Pope Benedict XVI said the following:
“With regard to myself, I wish to also devotedly serve the Holy Church of God in the future through a life dedicated to prayer.” (Benedict XVI, February 11, 2013)
How did we get from choosing “a life dedicated to prayer” to becoming a “cloistered monk” who can only leave his cloister when personally invited by the Pope?
Then the author goes on to examine a letter that Pope Benedict XVI wrote that was read aloud at Cardinal Meisner’s funeral in 2017. Here are some key parts:
“What moved me all the more was that, in this last period of his life, he learned to let go and to live out of a deep conviction that the Lord does not abandon His Church, even if the boat has taken on so much water as to be on the verge of capsizing.” …
“The Church stands in particularly pressing need of convincing shepherds who can resist the dictatorship of the spirit of the age and who live and think the faith with determination.”
I took a class on Pope Benedict’s writing and I remember reading/hearing that Pope Benedict XVI will go down in history as one of the greatest theological Popes we have ever had. Pope Benedict XVI was not dumb. He carefully & thoughtfully chose his words. Is there a deeper meaning to his words?
Let’s step back and talk about authority, because remember that after Pope Celestine V resigned, he was arrested, put in prison and died/killed by the next Pope because the next Pope didn’t want any question of authority. That is the key!!
I have spent a lot of time contemplating the power/authority of the papacy and really there are three completely different powers/authority that a Pope has.
1) The power from Holy Orders – On Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles in the upper room and bestowed upon them the gifts and powers from the Holy Spirit. The Apostles were the first Bishops of the Catholic Church. They received all the powers that the Holy Spirit could give.
Today, those powers of the Holy Spirit are given in three sacraments.
Baptism – this is when original sin is removed from the soul and the Holy Spirit is given to them. Usually done as a baby by a priest or deacon, but anyone can baptize at any age. Apostolic succession is not needed to baptize.
Confirmation – this is when the Holy Spirit given to the soul at Baptism is stirred up. This is usually done in High School as they person is being recognized as an adult in the Church. Usually done by the Bishop, but can be designated to a priest. Apostolic succession is not needed to for confirmation.
Holy Orders – this is where Bishops give the powers given to the Apostles on Pentecost are passed on to the next generation. These powers are known as Apostolic succession since these powers have been passed on from the Apostles themselves from generation to generation. There are three or possibly four phases of Holy Orders:
Deacons – Deacons receive the power of teaching the faith.
Priests – In addition to enhancing the power given to Deacons, priests receive the powers:
To turn ordinary bread and wine into the body and blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ – i.e. to offer the sacrifice of the mass.
To absolve souls of their sins in the sacrament of confession.
Bishops – Bishops receive all of the powers given to the apostles at Pentecost including the ability to pass on the powers to the next generation i.e. Apostolic succession.
Cardinal - When someone becomes a Cardinal the Church gives them the ability to vote in upcoming conclaves to elect a future Pope. This could be a gift of the Holy Spirit or it could be just the authority from the Church.
Something really important to note is there are no additional powers that the Cardinals can bestow upon the Pope. The highest power that can be given via Holy Orders is the power of a Bishop or possibly Cardinal.
This theological distinction was decided upon at Vatican II and Pope Benedict felt this was profound. When Pope Benedict XVI mentioned that all Cardinals have the same power as the Pope – this is what he was referring to.
The other big thing to note is that since these powers come from a sacrament – these powers can never be removed from a person. The authority granted to them by the Church can be taken away, but the powers cannot be taken away.
2) The Chair of St. Peter – During a conclave, the Cardinals elect a Bishop of the Bishops otherwise known as the Pope. The Cardinals bestow the authority to rule the hierarchy of the Church to the man they elect. Translated the man they elect (Pope) has the authority over all the Cardinals, Bishops, Priests etc.
The reason it is called the Chair of St. Peter, is Peter was the first leader of the Apostles. He was chosen by Jesus to be the leader of the Apostles. All future successors of St. Peter, sat in his “chair” or “seat” as being the leader over them. That is why Board of Directors often refer to the leader as Chairman or Chairwoman. This authority comes directly from the Church via the Cardinals.
3) Keys to the Kingdom – This authority/power comes directly from Jesus. This is the main power of the Papacy!
Jesus is a King from the Davidic lineage. One of the things that Kings would do in the old testament is have a 2nd in charge. The King gave their 2nd in charge, their ring (or keys) to signify to others that the king had given them all of his authority to run the kingdom on the King’s behalf. The most well-known example is Joseph (and the Technicolor Dreamcoat – made famous by Andrew Lloyd Weber) found in Genesis chapter 41:
41 And again Pharao said to Joseph: Behold, I have appointed thee over the whole land of Egypt.42 And he took his ring from his own hand, and gave it into his hand: and he put upon him a robe of silk, and put a chain of gold about his neck. 43 And he made him go up into his second chariot, the crier proclaiming that all should bow their knee before him, and that they should know he was made governor over the whole land of Egypt. 44 And the king said to Joseph: I am Pharao; without thy commandment no man shall move hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.
That is the power that Jesus gave to Peter in Matthew 16 when he gave him his keys to the kingdom. Jesus made Peter his 2nd in command over his Church:
18 And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven.
Historically, the keys have been passed on from Pope to Pope. In other words, historically, the keys were passed on to the person sitting in the Chair of St. Peter. Therefore, whoever the Cardinals choose to be Pope, Jesus has allowed the keys to be passed on to them as well.
However, history does NOT equal the present or the future!!!
Since the Keys belong to Jesus, Jesus can choose to give or take back those keys at any time.
The Book of Truth – Tuesday, June 7th, 2011 @ 15:50 – Jesus said:
“The Church of Peter is My Church. But when the Keys are handed back to God the Father, which they will be now, the Church becomes part of My Kingdom. I Am the Truth. Follow the Truth at all times.”
The Book of Truth – Tuesday, March 20th, 2012 @ 20:30– Mary said:
“The keys of Rome have been returned to my Father, God the Most High who will rule from the Heavens.”
Pope Benedict XVI resigned on February 28, 2013.
Notice the dates.
Per the Book of Truth, the keys to the kingdom bestowed upon the Popes for centuries was taken back a year before Pope Benedict XVI resigned!
If this is true then Francis does not have the power of the Papacy. Even though the Book of Truth is very biblical let’s continue digging deeper.
See my writing on The Book of Truth - prophesied in the Bible. https://open.substack.com/pub/karlovestruth/p/the-book-of-truth-is-prophesied-in?r=ho51s&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
Ok now let’s shift our focus and look at the actual resignation where these powers of the Papacy really make a huge difference!
This is a link to the actual text of Pope Benedict XVI resignation:
“…I declare in full liberty, that I renounce the ministry [ministerio] of the Bishop of Rome, Successor of Saint Peter, committed to me through the hands of the Cardinals on April 19, 2005, so that on February 28, 2013, at 20:00 Roman Time [Sedes Romae], the see of Saint Peter be vacant, and that a Conclave to elect a new Supreme Pontiff be convoked by those whose duty it is [ab quibus competit].”
I know it hard to see from our lay person’s eyes so I will try to break this down so it is easier for us to see.
When Pope Benedict resigned he needed to resign both the Chair of St. Peter (granted to him by the Cardinals/Church) and the Keys to the Kingdom (granted to him by Jesus). Notice Pope Benedict resigned the ministry granted to him by the Cardinals. He never resigned the Keys granted to him by Jesus. This distinction has resulted in a number of scholars analyzing this to whether this was a valid resignation.
In the last year, Dr. Edward Mazza has come out with his conclusions after meticulously reading/listening to pretty much everything that Pope Benedict said.
If you want to hear/see who Dr. Mazza is here an interview he did with Dr. Taylor Marshall:
If you are like me, it will take at 3-4 times listening to it to make any sense of what these are two theologians were discussing. It was this interview that prompted me to do a lot of contemplating on the authority/power of the papacy. I do want to point out that I think Dr. Taylor Marshall maybe misinterpreting a few of his arguments. I am going from memory here because I will be honest – I really don’t want to listen to this again so I might have somethings slightly wrong and I apologize for that.
· When Dr. Mazza talks about Pope Benedict having the same power as all the Bishops, Dr. Taylor Marshall is quick to say that Pope Benedict was in error. The confusion is coming from which power each is talking about. Pope Benedict was referring to the powers from Holy Orders. Dr. Taylor Marshall is talking about the Keys to the Kingdom.
· Dr. Taylor Marshall argues that the Keys to the Kingdom go with the Chair of St. Peter that they cannot be separated.
o Historically, that has been correct, but since the powers come from two sources (the Cardinals & Jesus) that may not always be correct.
o However, Dr. Taylor Marshall maybe correct and if he is then see the linked article that discusses how Pope Benedict attempting to split the Papacy isn’t allowable canonically: https://www.fromrome.info/2021/08/12/ratzinger-is-the-true-pope-the-jurists-sanchez-and-acosta-dismantle-the-bergoglian-narrative/
Basically, this is the scope of what Dr. Mazza has concluded. Per Pope Benedict’s writings/interviews:
· Pope Benedict clearly believed there were two parts of being pope:
o The day to day function/tasks – the ministry
o The Inner sense within the responsibility or personal responsibility – the office
· Pope Benedict believed the essence of what it meant to be Pope was the “personal responsibility”.
At his last General Audience, Benedict says: “I am not abandoning the cross, but remaining in a new way at the side of the crucified Lord.” Translation: “He remains Pope!”
In his 2017 interview, Benedict says that although he “stepped down,” “HE REMAINS…WITHIN THE RESPONSIBILITY.” Translation: “He remains Pope!”
https://nonvenipacem.org/2020/03/08/resigned-to-the-papacy-does-benedict-still-claim-he-is-pope/
Conclusions of Fact and Interpretation
From this we are forced to conclude, the following:
1. Pope Benedict XVI knew what he was doing.
2. Pope Benedict XVI never intended to lay down the personal responsibility or munus
3. Pope Benedict XVI only intended to leave aside the day to day work of the ministerium.
4. Pope Benedict XVI therefore is still the pope and he thinks he is the pope.
5. Pope Benedict XVI considers his act of renouncing the ministerium just as valid as his retention of the munus.
6. Pope Benedict’s concept of Pope Emeritus signifies, thus, the retention of the munus and dignity in the full sense and of the office in a partial sense.
The above link also details out Canon law regarding this, but here is the bottom line. Either
1) Pope Benedict XVI split the power/position of the Papacy and he maintained the main power of the papacy. OR
2) Pope Benedict’s resignation was substantially in error and he couldn’t split the power/position – then the resignation is invalid. “Resignation is invalid by law if it was made out of grave fear unjustly inflicted, fraud, substantial error, or simony” (1917 Code of Canon Law, Canon 185)
Both would mean that Francis does not have the power of the papacy.
Note: the option of even though the resignation wasn’t done complete correct , the resignation is still valid can’t be made because Pope Benedict fully knew what he was doing!
Does Francis & the Vatican know that Pope Benedict split the office? Yes, it absolutely appears that they do know!
· Antonio Socci in his book, said "during the days of the polemical statements [by Team Francis] concerning Ratzinger's preface to the book of Cardinal Sarah, Bergoglio [Francis] gave a homily that seemed to be a criticism of the pope emeritus, specifically for his 'halfway' resignation."
Francis said:
"[A] pastor has to... take his leave well, to not leave only halfway."
https://www.thecatholicmonitor.com/2020/11/socci-mazza-benedict-xvi-who.html
· A Christmas card sent by in January 2022 that was signed:
George Gänswein, Special Secretary to His Holiness Benedict XVI, Pope emeritus
The key words are “His Holiness”, if the resignation was valid, then Pope Benedict XVI would not be allowed to be called His Holiness.
“To receive a Christmas Greeting in response to one sent to Pope Benedict through the Apostolic Nuncio means that the Vatican has recognized that Benedict is still a member of the Roman Curia in the very least. I have it from the receiver that he did NOT write to Archbishop Gänswein, but to Pope Benedict, as pope.” https://www.fromrome.info/2020/01/10/ganswein-recognizes-benedict-as-holding-petrine-munus/
There is one more area that we need to look at. Why did Pope Benedict split the powers of the Papacy?
The Catholic Encyclopedia states:
“…A valid Abdication of the Pope must be a free act, hence a forced resignation of the papacy would be null and void, as more than one ecclesiastical decree has declared.” (The Catholic Encyclopedia, v. 1, 1907, p. 32.)
So, was the resignation a 100% free act by Pope Benedict?
Did you know that part of his sermon from the mass that installed him as Pope, Pope Benedict XVI said the following?
“Pray for me, that I may not flee for fear of the wolves.”
What was Pope Benedict referring to?
Many forget or don’t realize that Pope Benedict XVI was Pope John Paul II’s number 2. In fact, it was Pope Benedict XVI (then Cardinal Ratzinger) that was acting Pope late in Pope John Paul II’s pontificate when Pope John Paul II was too frail in health to handle the Papacy on his own. Therefore, Pope Benedict would have been well aware of the evil rising in the Church.
There have been many prophesies/encyclicals/books and even I have written a number of times regarding the rise of communism and Freemasonry into the Church. Dr. Taylor Marshall’s book Infiltration is just one example of them.
To get a better picture - let’s go back to what Pope Benedict said after his death to Sr. Benedicta on February 2, 2023, because this really does give a better perspective of what Pope Benedict was referring to: Note: I added an additional note in parentheses for clarification.
“During the funeral mass of my great friend John Paul II, I felt a great stir in my heart. John Paul II had undergone surgery on his neck with the sole purpose of silencing him and thus worsening his health, to prevent him from making decisions that were inconsistent with ecclesiastical Freemasonry that held high positions in the central government, and not as the media of the time claimed.
Pope John Paul II had another government plan in mind, one that did not provide for changes unless they were necessary. He was initially skeptical of an investigation conducted within the Curia of the Vatican, a report that contained very important and compromising information that required immediate changes because it threatened the stability of the Church, information known in detail to his predecessor, Pope John Paul I, who was assassinated not only because he knew this information, but also because he had initiated a purge that involved some changes within the central government and the Vatican Bank, which was reason enough to depose him.
Only after the assassination (attempt) did the great John Paul II change his mind. He shared this information with me and we got to work. At that time I was Prefect for the Doctrine of the Faith. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. The damage done was irreparable and it was very complicated to remove many high church hierarchs.
And yes, it is true that some steps had already been taken. Freemasonry, which was predominant in the college of cardinals and in the various dicasteries, had spread its tentacles through alliances not only within the Vatican, but also outside it. We just did what we could and not what we wanted. It is very difficult to work with a hostile government, as I did, and with few allies, against a majority that openly stands up as relativism and modernism, in all its shadows. We soon noticed that there was a climate of open rebellion and disobedience to the Pope, and all this threatened to lead to a great schism within the Church. In the course of my life, and especially during my pontificate, I have experienced terrible and painful moments. Some of them are known only to God. It was never thought that evil could reach the highest levels, and now Satan feels powerful and lord over everything.
I had learned that there is a very dangerous mafia in the Vatican of Masonic cardinals pursuing occult interests. They are traitors to the Church, who occupy very important positions and create allies and then destroy the Church and the Catholic faith from within, cardinals and bishops who do not fear God and without conscience kill souls in cold blood, all out of love of power and money, and move further and further away from the true mission entrusted to us by our Lord Jesus Christ.
… I knew very well what was in store for me, and my enemies had grown stronger and more numerous. I was aware of some of the files that Pope Paul VI had created during his pontificate on the Vatican Curia and which we later studied together with my predecessor John Paul II. My wish was to initiate a thorough cleansing, and I knew that this would not be easy, that there would have to be a total reorganization within the Vatican Curia. I was aware that it would most likely cost me my life, as it had cost my predecessors, but I decided to take the more difficult road, supported by the help of some people of faith.
To this end, I began a much-needed purification within the Legionaries of Christ at the time, forcing their founder, Marcial Maciel, to withdraw from all public office. That alone earned me many enemies, not only within the church but also outside it.
I knew the greatest purge awaited me. I knew the Curia of the Vatican and all the intrigues that were drawn out there. I knew I wasn’t the favorite candidate for Peter’s chair, not because of a lack of quality, but because I wouldn’t help the Masons in their goals.”
That’s a lot! What is interesting is most of what Pope Benedict XVI is referring to has come out recently, because of a book written by Father Charles Murr. To give you an idea of what the book is about this review:
"As a young priest in Rome, Fr. Charles Murr worked closely with Cardinal Édouard Gagnon on the dangerous mission Paul VI had entrusted to that eminent figure: investigating the Vatican curia to uncover membership in Freemasonry. Fr. Murr’s intimate role made him acquainted with the unsavory agendas of high-ranking prelates and the intrigues surrounding the death of John Paul I and the election of John Paul II… Fr. Murr does not peddle conspiracy theories; he tells the riveting story as he lived through it and recorded it in his notes and diaries—what he saw and heard, what his friends learned and suffered. Most of all, we discover how a divinely-given opportunity for serious reform was tragically refused. Murder in the Thirty-Third Degree is the most impressive eyewitness account of postconciliar Vatican politics to appear in decades."
—Dr. Peter A. Kwasniewski: PROFESSOR, COMPOSER, AUTHOR,
THE EXTASY OF LOVE IN THOMAS AQUINAS
In the interview (link below), Father Murr talks about how Pope John Paul II at first didn’t believe the report of Cardinal Gagnon so he left. It was only after the assignation attempt on Pope John Paul II’s life did he believe Cardinal Gagnon and called him back to the Vatican. Unfortunately, by that time Cardinal Baggio (a known Freemason!) had appointed a great number of Bishops (maybe up to ½ of them) largely because Pope Paul VI mandated a retirement age of 75, which left a large number of vacant Bishop positions around the world.
The mafia that Pope Benedict XVI is referring to is St. Gallen Mafia. Below is what is written about a book on them:
“In the mid-1990s, a clandestine group of high-ranking churchmen began gathering in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Opposed to Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, the circle plotted a revolution in stealth.
By 2015, their secret ached to be told. Before an audience, Cardinal Godfried Danneels joked of being a part of a "mafia." But as explosive as Danneels's confession was, a thick cloud of mystery still enshrouds the St. Gallen mafia.”
The first 12 minutes are worth the time to listen as Dr. Taylor Marshall and his guest talk about the history of St. Gallen Mafia:
Ok – so there definitely was evil all around Pope Benedict XVI, but did they force him out?
The Book of Truth says yes:
· My daughter, please pray for My Vicar, Pope Benedict, for he is surrounded by masonic forces who are now making every effort to dethrone him, these evil forces have been infiltrating My Church since Vatican II and have diluted My Teachings. July 6th, 2011 @ 15:30
· Pope Benedict XVI is being plotted against, within his own corridors, by an evil sect. This sect is known to exist among those sacred servants within the Vatican, yet they are powerless against this evil group, which has infiltrated the Catholic Church for centuries. … Pray that they do not drive the pope away. January 18th, 2012 @ 09:50
· Today I ask of My followers, My dearest daughter, to pray hard for My beloved Vicar Pope Benedict XVI . He, My Holy Servant is under terrible persecution behind closed doors in the Holy See. I have told you before that the Masonic Groups who have a vice like grip inside The Vatican want My Beloved Pope out. And they intend to oust him from the Seat of Peter using devious means. He will, as I have told you in the past, have to flee for he will have little choice. May 26th, 2012 @ 16:00
Is there any other evidence to suggest that he was forced out? Yes, there is.
Did you know that a group of respected lay Catholic leaders sent an open letter to President Trump and asked him to investigate claims that Soros, Obama and Clinton organized a Vatican coup to install Pope Francis?
Here is the letter:
The key paragraph is this one:
We were alarmed to discover that, during the third year of the first term of the Obama administration your previous opponent, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and other government officials with whom she associated proposed a Catholic “revolution” in which the final demise of what was left of the Catholic Church in America would be realized.[1] Approximately a year after this e-mail discussion, which was never intended to be made public, we find that Pope Benedict XVI abdicated under highly unusual circumstances and was replaced by a pope whose apparent mission is to provide a spiritual component to the radical ideological agenda of the international left.
Let’s go back to the Book of Truth:
I call on all of my children everywhere to pray for Pope Benedict XVI who is in danger of being exiled from Rome. He, the most Holy Vicar of the Catholic Church, is hated in many quarters within the Vatican. An evil plot, planned for over one year, will be seen all over the world shortly. March 20th, 2012 @ 20:30
Did you notice that The Book of Truth said that the plot to remove Pope Benedict XVI was being planned over a year before he resigned? That ties in with what was discovered in the WikiLeaks that led to the open letter to President Trump.
Unfortunately, the links to the Wikileak emails in the open letter have been taken down, but the New American reported the following:
Podesta, a longtime Clinton adviser/confidante and hand-picked top activist for left-wing funder George Soros, revealed in a 2011 e-mail that he and other activists were working to effect a “Catholic Spring” revolution within the Catholic Church, an obvious reference to the disastrous “Arab Spring” coups organized that same year by the Obama-Clinton-Soros team that destabilized the Middle East and brought radical Islamist regimes and terrorist groups to power in the region. The Podesta e-mail is a response to another Soros-funded radical — Sandy Newman, founder of the “progressive” Voices for Progress. Newman had written to Podesta seeking advice on the best way to “plant the seeds of the revolution” in the Catholic Church, which he described as a “middle ages [sic] dictatorship.” ….
John Podesta responded the following day, writing:
We created Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good to organize for a moment like this. But I think it lacks the leadership to do so now. Likewise Catholics United. Like most Spring movements, I think this one will have to be bottom up. I’ll discuss with Tara. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend is the other person to consult.
The Below is a timeline of events that led to the resignation of Pope Benedict the XVI.
I REALLY encourage everyone to read this!!!!!
Pay very closely to all the things that Pope Benedict did to show those watching that things were not as they seemed:
https://gloria.tv/?fbclid=IwAR2iepnu51-se69TlbnqQZ-eIOr2OZVUKsoBnvyvTaA6VVy3R8oIfqwXX7w&post=LP8x7fW7M22m1h8QJvBmvZwTP
In summary, there is strong evidence to suggest that the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI was not valid or at the very least either Heaven or Pope Benedict held the Keys (the Power of the Papacy) and that they were NOT passed on to Pope Francis.
